Reference Project
In the Savoie region of France, at the foot of the Val d'Isère slopes, lies this chalet, which provides the setting for a tranquil and refined après-ski experience.
The interior design was handled by the Swedish design studio Artilleriet Studio. The ambition was to create a place that feels familiar and relaxed, like a home away from home. In the center of the room, a deep red dining table brings the decor together and invites long dinners in good company that are allowed to linger. The table is flanked by a bespoke kitchen made of solid oak and marble, equipped with a 3-hole Christiansborg tap in burnished brass.
The material palette throughout the chalet is warm and tactile — natural stone, timber, and textiles define the interiors with depth and softness. Together, they create a grounded, refined sense of home, with surfaces that will age gracefully and gather character over time, enhancing the sense of ease and permanence in the space.
