Following a fire at Christiansborg Palace in 1884, the palace sought to replenish the belongings and property that were lost in the incident. Fritz Toxborg's father, Edgar was working for the equipment company Auchenberg, who supplied the palace with sanitary fittings throughout the reconstruction process. It was from here that the name ‘Christiansborg’ was given to this model tap. The Christiansborg fitting is the perfect addition to both modern interiors and classical residences, seamlessly integrating itself into its surroundings as a natural part of the decor.
