Christiansborg Palace

Christiansborg Palace was left in ruins after the fire in 1884, but as the reconstruction took shape, TONI Copenhagen (then known as “E.O. Auchenberg”) was chosen as the main supplier of sanitary fittings. This is where the name for the Christiansborg handle originates. Many decades later, as part of TONI Copenhagen's relaunch of this iconic fitting in 1985, the Royal Court was once again the first to order it for Amalienborg Palace. With its distinctive five-pronged handwheel, it is, as it was then, appreciated for its timeless, honest, and slightly poetic expression.
