Brass working is an artisan craft that the Auchenberg family brought with them from Germany in the early 1800s, just over 100 years before the company was founded in 1918. Before creating the brand’s iconic kitchen and bathroom fittings in raw brass, the company was primarily focused on gas fittings and technical taps. These were formed using a metal lathe in their Copenhagen backyard. Later, TONI Copenhagen returned its production to the factory where all products are still, to this day, made by hand. With one foot in the past and one in the future, TONI Copenhagen sticks to the traditional craft roots we came from.
